📊 Understand 'time to purchase' at a glance

In Analytics, you can now see the time to purchase broken down into segments, giving you an instant overview of how purchase duration is spread across your shoppers: the median, the fastest 25% and the slowest 25%. This gives you a realistic picture of how quickly Aiden-driven purchases typically happen.

The time to purchase statistic in Analytics has gotten an upgrade! To get more useful insights from this statistic, we've replaced the average with the median time to purchase. This tells you right away how long most customers take to make a purchase after using an Aiden product fnder. We've also added a chart showing the different segments, so you can immediately see how the time to purchase is distributed across your customers.

‍

‍

How to use these metrics

‍The chart visualizes time to purchase across segments, so you can quickly see what's typical versus exceptional.

  • The median is the time it takes most shoppers to complete a purchase after completing a product finder. Example: if the median is 3 days, half of your shoppers buy within 3 days, the other half takes longer.
  • The 50% segments indicate the most common time to purchas
  • The fastest 25% and slowest 25% show the extremes: how quickly the fastest buyers decide, and how long the slowest buyers take to make a purchase.

You can use this insight to determine, for example, how long an A/B test should run to get a realistic result.

These new metrics are now available in Aiden, we're curious to hear how you use these!
