A bit about you

  1. You love working hard, but you love working smart even more. You make do with the tools that are available, and if the tools aren’t good enough, you’ll craft yourself a better set.
  2. Bonus points if your e-commerce experience goes beyond filling up a shopping cart. Some sales experience is a must: in a store, call center, or (best case) at a SaaS company.
  3. You get that sales is more than a good story and a big smile. You read people well, you’re curious about what drives customers, and you enjoy figuring out what works (and what doesn’t). You’re creative, resourceful, and able to sell an idea without pushing.
  4. You speak and write fluent English (Dutch and/or another European language is a big plus), and you communicate clearly and convincingly.
  5. And last but not least: you love winning. Whether it’s a competition or a well-run call: that feeling of success is what drives you.

A bit about us

  1. Aiden is a young software company based in Utrecht. Since November 2024, we’ve been part of the Shop Circle team, while still operating independently. With a small group of talented, genuinely nice people, we build great software and aim to make e-commerce work a whole lot better.
  2. Our goal: helping consumers find the right product or service, without the struggle. We do that through our SaaS platform for guided selling, which lets our customers (retailers and brands) build their own product advisors, either independently or with our support.
  3. We’re a small team. and we like it that way. Our customers like it too. And it means more ownership, responsibility, and freedom for everyone on the team.
  4. We’re ambitious, but that doesn’t mean we’re an “always-on” company. We give you the autonomy and flexibility to do what needs to get done, within a regular work week.

What you're going to do

We’ll help you grow into a rock-solid sales professional. Aiden is already the market leader in the Netherlands. You’ll help us become the market leader beyond our borders as well. You’ll work closely with Simon (CCO), Francisco (Origination Lead), and the rest of the sales team.

In your first year, you’ll focus on Step 1 and Step 2 of the sales journey:

Step 1 — Prospecting
You’ll get to know our software and target audience, and build your own hit list: retailers who need to know Aiden exists. You’ll research companies and the people behind them. What’s the right message for each of them?

Step 2 — Booking demos
You’ll reach out to your prospects yourself: via email, LinkedIn, creative plays, and yes, good old-fashioned calling. Whatever works, works. You’ll learn from us and develop your own style. Your goal: book as many demo meetings as possible, and prepare them well (Step 1 sets you up for success here).

What we're offering

We’re not an IT consultancy, so we’re not putting you in a company car. What we will be doing — besides paying your salary — is giving you a great place to work with a few perks the big players typically don’t offer:
