⛵️ Sales Lead

Aiden is looking for a new colleague who will (ultimately) be responsible for our Benelux pipeline.

Something about you

  1. You are not averse to hard work, but above all you like to work smart. You row with what you have and are not afraid to go into the woods yourself with a hatchet to make a new pair of, larger ones.
  2. You have at least 3 years of sales experience at another SaaS company, where you (eventually) independently gave demos and closed deals.
  3. You understand that selling is more than shouting loudly and enthusiastically. You have knowledge of people and enjoy discovering what works and what doesn't work in convincing potential customers. You are creative, decisive and know how to sell a vision.
  4. It's a great bonus if your experience with e-commerce goes beyond regularly buying things online yourself. You know the (medium) large players in the Netherlands and understand how workshops basically operate.
  5. You speak and write Dutch and English fluently. Another European language = nice too!
  6. Most importantly: You love to win. There is nothing (well, little) more beautiful for you than convincing customers and getting that signature.

Iets over ons

  1. Aiden is young, 100% founder owned software company in Utrecht. With a group of nice, talented people, we make great software and want to make the world of e-commerce a lot better.
  2. Our goal: to make it easier for consumers to find the right product or service.
  3. That's what we do with our SaaS platform for guided selling, with which our customers (web shops) make independent decision aids.
  4. We're small and we like that (rhyme!). Our customers are also happy with it. And it means a lot of responsibility and freedom for our team.
  5. We are an ambitious bunch of people. But that doesn't mean we're such an 'always-on' company. We give you the freedom and flexibility to do what you need to do.

This is what you're going to do

You will (ultimately) be responsible for our continued growth in the Benelux, while our CCO Simon will focus on our further growth in Europe. We do this in four steps:

1. In the first month, you know:

  • our software inside out
  • the most common pain points of our customers
  • our sales processes and approach

2. In the first quarter, you can:

  • independently your first opportunities creating
  • give demos independently

3. In the first half of the year:

  • you independently go through the entire sales cycle: from outbound, to demo, to contracting
  • do you conclude your first contracts for your target

4. In the first year, you have:

  • control over the pipeline and let them grow consistently qualitatively and quantitatively
  • brought in larger customers and increased order value

That is the beginning. As far as we are concerned, your growth path and responsibility end with your ambition and results.

We're not an IT consultancy, so we won't put you in a lease car. What we do do — in addition to paying your salary — is provide a great workplace with some benefits that the big boys don't give you:

  3. Our working days are flexible. Standups are at 9.30 am. You work from home or at the office in Utrecht. Since #corona, we've seen each other at the office about 1-2 times a week (more is allowed), and we also work from home.
  4. Vacation days. That's what you get 25 of them.
  5. New Parent Time! If you have a child, we will give you an extra 2 weeks on top of the regular leave. That time does not count in your further vacation days.
