Sales, business development, growth hacking, whatever you want to call it: Aiden is looking for the perfect candidate to expand our sales team. A great job for starters or people with 1-2 years of experience!
A bit about you
- You're not afraid of hard work, but you're even more into smart work. You row with the oars you've got, and if they’re not strong enough, you'll just head into the woods and carve a better pair yourself.
- Bonus points if your e-commerce experience goes beyond just filling your own shopping cart. You’ve definitely done sales before: maybe in a store, a call center, or - even better - at a SaaS company.
- You understand that sales is more than a good story and a charming smile. You’ve got a solid read on people, you're curious about what makes customers tick, and you love figuring out what works (and what doesn't). You’re creative, persistent, and know how to sell a vision without being pushy.
- You’re fluent in English and one other European language, both written and spoken. You communicate clearly and confidently.
- And last but not least: you love to win. Whether it’s a clever campaign or a closed deal, that feeling of success is what drives you.

- Aiden is a young software company based in Utrecht. Since November 2024, we’ve been part of the Shop Circle team - operating independently, with the perks of being in good company.
- With a tight-knit group of talented and fun people, we’re building great software to improve the way e-commerce works for customers and businesess.
- Our goal? To help shoppers find the right product or service more easily. We do that through our guided selling platform; a SaaS solution that helps online stores give great product advice.

What you're going to do
We're here to help you become a top-tier sales professional. Aiden is already the market leader in the Netherlands. You’ll help us grow our slice of the European pie.
You'll work closely with Marja (CEO), Simon (CCO), Bart (Sales Lead NL), and Francisco (Account Executive).
In your first year, you’ll focus on these four stages of the sales journey:
- Step 1 – Prospecting
You’ll learn our software and target audience inside out, then build your own hit list of online storesthat need to know about Aiden.
- Step 2 – Booking Demos
You’ll do your own outreach through email, LinkedIn, creative campaigns, or old-school cold calling. Whatever works. You’ll learn from us and develop your own style.
- Step 3 – Giving Demos
Once you fully understand the product and your prospect’s challenges, you’ll start running your own demos. You’re the expert. You own your pipeline.
- Step 4 – Closing Deals
Not every client says yes right away. But with the right follow-up, timing, and a bit of flair, you’ll get even the doubters across the line. Because as we all know: customers who aren't sure, won't buy.

What we're offering
We’re not an IT consultancy, so we won't put you in a lease car. What we do offer — besides your salary and commission — is a great place to work, with a few perks the big guys often forget:
- Hybrid working. Our office is in the heart of Utrecht, the Netherlands, and we’d love to see you there from time to time. But if you prefer working from home (or wherever you feel most productive), go for it. We are also open to remote applicants within Europe.
